​My 12 years in science have taught me to logically approach any obstacle I encounter with a consistent methodology. I use design thinking principles from my master’s program to analyze, design, develop, implement, and evaluate solutions to obstacles. I have found repeatable success with using an iterative design and beta or pilot testing process to refine details and ensure functionality prior to operational release. As a leader, inclusivity is the basis by which I manage my teams, with a focus on a growth mindset to encourage personal and professional development. During new process rollout and training, I enjoy addressing concerns and answering questions by thoroughly explaining the rationale and cost benefit analysis applied to decisions.
